1st Annual Children’s Workshop

Name of workshop: Ecology and Evolution for Kids
Date: Sunday, May 9th, 2010
Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location: La Laurentienne Building Foyer
Registration: No registration necessary
Cost: Free for the Public and Meeting Participants

Details: A fun-filled, hands-on workshop for kids of all ages! This event is geared towards school-age children, but there will also be some activities, like face painting and a reading corner, for younger children. We are planning several games and activities aimed at introducing kids to ecology and evolution in a fun and interactive way. There will be several activity stations where the children can learn about fossils, food-webs, local natural history, adaptation and more! We expect that one hour should be enough time for your child to partake in all of the activities. Please contact Suzanne Gray (suzanne.gray@mail.mcgill.ca) for more information.
